From Keith Erickson/Coeur d'Alene Today: "The Coeur d’Alene City Council has voted unanimously to adopt a new city logo. The logo will be phased in over a period of time on city materials including letterhead, business cards, stationery and other general government materials. The website will also be updated during this transition period. The city's website homepage already boasts the new logo. Over the past several months, city staff  worked closely with North Idaho College's graphic design students to develop a new logo. More than 40 logos were submitted by students for consideration. The winning logo was designed by Darcy Gross of Hayden. A big thank you to all the graphic design students and instructor Philippe Valle for their participation in this important project!"
