Ground Beef Recall Affects NI Schools

Ground beef that may contain small pieces of plastic was delivered to scores of Idaho schools this summer and is being recalled, the state Department of Education said today. California-based Central Valley Meat Co. issued a product recall for the beef, which was processed March 30 and delivered to to 86 school districts, charter schools, private schools and juvenile detention centers between July 2 and Sept. 6, the agency said. The Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls school districts did not receive any of the beef subject to the recall. Many smaller school districts may have received the beef/Scott Maben, SR. More here.

Question: How much ground beef does your family eat in a given week?
