Ground beef that may contain small pieces of plastic was delivered to scores of Idaho schools this summer and is being recalled, the state Department of Education said today. California-based Central Valley Meat Co. issued a product recall for the beef, which was processed March 30 and delivered to to 86 school districts, charter schools, private schools and juvenile detention centers between July 2 and Sept. 6, the agency said.
