A rental on Park Drive becomes the latest residence to be scraped in the historic Fortgrounds area. The rental is one of nine owned by Lake City Development Corporation along Park Drive. Two more will be removed next week. The fate of the remainder will be determined by the reconstruction of the Four Corners area @ Northwest Boulevard and Mullan Road. DFO: For those keeping score at home, workers and heavy equipment are busy demolishing the yard and residence of a lakeshore house @ Military/West Lakeshore Drive to make way for a controversial condominium project. The shrubs have been yanked out. Today, the workers were pulling out the windows and doors. Scott Maben/SR wrote about neighbor resistance to the project here.
