Vandal Hits NIC Signs

A vandal has caused $3900 damage to two signs at the intersections of two new entrances to North Idaho College, tearing off four emplems from two monuments, according to Coeur d'Alene police reports. The monuments were located at the Northwest entrances to Hubbard and River. Pat Murray from NIC security reported that the vandalism occurred between 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday. The vandal tore off two emblems, containing a yellow "I" and white "Vandals" and a second emblem with interlocking blue letters "LC." Murray didn't have suspect information.

DFO: When I saw those signs going up, I wondered how long it would be before some jerk vandalized them. Now we have the answer. I hope they catch this creep.
