CPD Blue Seeks Target Burglar

Coeur d’Alene Police detectives are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who entered the Target store at 315 W. Canfield at 9:30 p.m. Saturday The male then hid in the restroom until after the store closed. Employees secured the store and left the premises at some time after 9:30 p.m. Video surveillance shows the suspect emerge from his hiding place at 11:15 p.m. and then wander around the store paying special attention to the electronics section. The male suspect was unable to gain access to the locked glass cabinets. He left the store through the emergency exit triggering the alarm. Officers and store management arrived on scene and did not discover any forced entry or items missing.
