Cutline Contest
Since today's original Cutline Contest post received no entries, let's try again: Mahpiya Benoist, 6, climbs up between to sections of a sculpture Thursday morning in Salina, Kan. Ama Benoist, Mahpiya's mom, said she brought her children to the park because "It's a nice day and we're tired of being inside, and I didn't want them watching any more TV." The sculpture is made from lumber, plywood, chicken wire, and 20,000 pounds of newspaper. You write the cutline. (AP Photo/Salina Journal, Tom Dorsey)
Wednesday winner: Jen (with 7 likes): Julian informs his new friend, "The world is really different than when you were here last. Now we have the wheel and fire and cell phones...and breath mints." Cutline photo here.
