School Levy Election Wild Card

D'oh! I have no excuse for not posting a school supplemental levy election Wild Card before now. How are things going in the precincts?

  • Allison McArthur (4:51 p.m.): reports from Post Falls Senior Center that only 41 people have voted so far at her precinct. Also, she said, the Nazarene Church poll in Post Falls reported that the first person didn't vote there until 10:30 this morning. Post Falls is voting on 2-year, $4.55M levy.
  • CdAJim (3:54 p.m.): I was voter 63 at 2:15 p.m. at the Mica Grange. They said it had been pretty slow.
  • Tom Hamilton (2:03 p.m.): "I was number 41 at Precinct 19 at about 12:30. Low turnout is always such a disappointment but I'm confident we'll see our community come out in support of our great schools."
  • Sara Meyer (1:57 p.m.): "I voted this morning around 9am at precinct 58 and I was number 15 at that time. They said it was a surprisingly busy morning."
  • Adamsfly (1:39 p.m.): "I was number 28 at precinct 42. Voted around 12 pm. Workers said very low turnout."
  • Mike Kennedy (1:25 p.m.): "I voted, and I had four Canadians, vote, too! (Just kidding, opencda-ers.) I was number 44 at Precinct 38 at Woodland at 12:30. Low turnout and I didn't see another person coming or going at the other precinct.
