Letter: Under The Rainbow

The Coeur d’Alene Resort is classy and has received worldwide acclaim. How will it explain to clientele the McEuen “rainbow” glowing entrance thought up by Howard Meehan, who had never even visited Coeur d’Alene? It is a gaudy Reno/Las Vegas concoction. Let’s bring in the slots! Were the “selectors” of this fantasy drunk? Insane? Alzheimers? Giving it to a man born in Brooklyn? Who visualized old log yards and sailboats. It’s just plain nuts!/Lillian Moore Lind, letter to the editor, Coeur d'Alene Press.

Question: I like rainbows and unicorns. How about you?
