Copeland Files For McEvers Seat
Amber Copeland became the third person this week to file for Coeur d'Alene City Council Seat 4, the position now held by Councilman Woody McEvers. She joins McEvers and Sharon Hebert in the race for the seat. Copeland finished third in a three-way race for council in 2011, with 658 votes (11%). The race was won by Steve Adams, who claimed 56% of the vote. Councilman John Bruning finished with 33% of the vote. Signing Copeland's petition of candidacy were David. J. Charberki, Sandra Ryan, Clara Binford, Michael McNearney, Audra Necke, Randall Myers, Ken Ouosa and Copeland herself.
