Happy Hour: Sweeter At Half Price

When I hear the term Happy Hour, I typically think of that 3 to 6 p.m. time during which bars serve half-price drinks. I never think of pastry shops. Which is one reason why, on a recent Saturday, I was surprised to find myself standing in line at the downtown Sweet Frostings bakery, watching as one of the workers filled a package with a dozen cupcakes of various flavors – and then charged us half price. Yes, Sweet Frostings – as shown in the above photo – offers a Saturday Cupcake Happy Hour, between 5 and 6 p.m. You're limited to just two dozen of the little beauties/Dan Webster, SR Dually Noted. More here.

Question: How often do you take advantage of happy hours? Where?
