Here's a first look at the campaign literature of appointed Coeur d'Alene School Board Trustee Brent Regan, who is running to retain his position against Christa Hazel in Zone 1 in the May 21 election. Huckleberries Online has had questions re: Regan's Republican credentials since he seems to move earily among the various pockets of mainstream to ultraconservatism (Reagan Republican, United Conservatives of North Idaho and Wayne Hoffman's Libertarian-oriented Idaho Freedom Foundation). Regan makes a point of identifying himself in the literature as a Republican.
