USA Today: Bikes Rule PDX Roads

Add The USA Today to the long list of national publications that have apparently just learned that bicycle commuting is big in Portland. (I’m hearing that we have quite a food-cart culture as well.) The headline – “In Portland, Ore., bikes rule the road” – is more than a little hyperbolic. But for Portlanders who have followed the city's two-wheeled renaissance for years, there really isn’t anything new. Same characters. Same numbers. A novelty piece for the national audience/Joseph Rose, Oregonian. More here.

Question: Do you think Coeur d'Alene has become a biking community, too? If not, would you like to see Coeur d'Alene become one?
