John Brecht wipes down the engine of a 1937 DC-3 after landing at Felts Field on Thursday in Spokane. The Flagship Detroit is a restored American Airliner that also served as a light freighter and agricultural sprayer before being acquired by the Flagship Detroit Foundation in 2004. The plane, flown by former American Airlines pilots, will be on display through 5 p.m. today and again on Saturday, 9am to noon. Mike Prager SR story here. (SR photo: Dan Pelle)
