S&G: Man Hurt For Dissing Cowboys?
A man was hospitalized earlier this month after allegedly being the target of football rage at a downtown Spokane bar. On Oct. 2 at 3:06 a.m., police took a report from the victim at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. He said he was assaulted by numerous men outside the Monterey Cafe located at 9 N. Washington Street. Police said the victim was targeted for disparaging the Dallas Cowboys. There was a football game televised the night prior. On Oct. 1, the Cowboys played the Chicago Bears and lost 34-18/Nicole Hensley, Sirens & Gavels. More here. (AP file photo of Dallas-Chicago game Monday, Oct. 1)
