Little Fund-Raising In NIC Races

On the surface, there isn't much fund-raising going on in North Idaho College races, according to the Oct. 10, one-month, pre-election campaign finance report due Wednesday. Challenger Todd Banducci (report here) has outraised incumbent Trustee Mic Armon (report here) $1,788 to $1,139 in their race for one of three seats available. Supporters who back Banducci financially include Bob Nonini, Brent Regan and Kathleen Sims. Banducci has spend $1000 so far with The Strategery Group. Commissioner Dan Green backs Armon. In a second race, incumbent Judy Meyer (report here) has outraised challenger Paul Matthews (report here) $2,348 to $2,215. Financial suporters for Meyer include Mary Lou Reed, Tony Stewart, Sue Thilo, and Christie Wood. Financial contributors to Matthews include Commissioner Dan Green & Kathy Sims. Matthews has spent $1,592 with Strategery so far. In the race for the open seat being vacated by incumbent Ron Vieselmeyer, only one of five candidates has his/her financial report scanned so far -- Fritz Widenhoff. He has raised no money for the campaign to date. (NIC Web site photo of Trustee Judy Meyer)
