Taryn: They Need A Good Spanking

Taryn Hecker: The local GOP needs to learn to get along as well as the Democrats do. I don’t hear the Ds crying that one of their fellow Ds isn’t Democrat enough or isn’t a real Democrat. Where are the splinter groups and factions? Are they making professed Democrats prove they really are liberals? They just accept that if someone says they are a Democrat, then that’s what they are. They have this more the merrier attitude and it’s no wonder they are gaining ground. If I was mom to all our different GOP cliques, I’d spank all their asses and make them go stand in the corner until they could play nice again. I vote Republican because I have Conservative values but I’m not proud of my local — and very fractured — party.

Question: Do you mind that the local GOP is so fractured?
