Fairchild Breast-Feeders Create Stir

Mom2Mom, a breastfeeding support group at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Wash., has created an Internet sensation with a recent photo shoot that included two moms breastfeeding while wearing their airman battle uniforms. The photos, by 'Brynja Sigurdardottir Photography' in Washington, were featured on the website and blog breastfeedingincombatboots.com. The author of the blog, Robyn Roche-Paull, says on her website that the Air Force doesn't endorse the photos but permission was given to the breastfeeding moms to appear in them. One features a mom breastfeeding twins; her ABU top is unbuttoned and her shirt is pushed up. A second mom sits next to her, breastfeeding a baby girl. She too has her ABU undone, although her shirt covers her skin/AirForceTimes.com. More here.

Question (from KHQ): Should military women be allowed to breastfeed in uniform in public?
