Mansfield: Why Is Luna Hanging Out

Is it just me? Why is Tom Luna alone? At least two recall efforts have somewhat lifted off the ground, with apparently no effort to counter them from the GOP. The education unions have scoped their political rifles... and the cross hairs ominously shadow only one man. Tom Luna -- Idaho's Superintendent of Public Instruction. And he appears to be alone in a field. Maybe even an easy mark? So, where is Governor Otter, Lt. Gov Little, the Senate Leadership and others? Do they not realize that if the NEA and its subsidiaries, (let alone its political attack machines that cleverly pretend to be independent educational/political entities) will come after each of them because Idaho committed the unpardonable sin by turning the education community on its head? They ALL supported the educational revitalization of last year/Dennis Mansfield. More here.

Question: Are election Republican officials distancing themselves from Tom Luna?
