Certified Petitions Ready For Viewing

The final recall petitions showing the certified and rejected signatures have been scanned by the city of Coeur d'Alene. The city has provided the following link from which the documents (in a .zip file) can be downloaded, opened and saved directly to readers' computers for viewing. It is a very large file that includes four separate pdfs. Scanned petitions. Coeur d'Alene City Clerk Susan Weathers told The Press that the verified petitions were delivered by the county in boxes and counted, but not scanned on Monday when the signature count was announced. Some irregularities were discovered, but do not change the end result; there were not enough valid signatures to trigger a recall election/Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Arsaken: The signature count done by Stop the Recall only took out people who were not registered and who had completely incorrect addresses. We left in all names that were close, all addresses that were close, all same-day registrations, and certainly accepted names without middle initials. Our count was within 15 signatures of the ones done by the clerks, so I’d say they did a good job.

Question: Do you think there'll be any fallout for those who signed the petitions?
