  • 5:32 p.m. Fire boat has 5 of the stranded people on board -- a maximum -- and is asking for help from U.S. Navy vessels en route to pick up the other 3 individuals. All 8 people & 3 dogs are safe.
  • 5:24 p.m. 8 people & 3 dogs have made shore in sinking pontoon boat but are now stranded near cement plant in old Lakeview on Lake Pend Oreille. 2 rescue boats en route from Bayview.
  • 4:54 p.m. Unconscious person reportedly hanging out of vehicle at Post Falls tattoo shop.
  • 4:48 p.m. Pontoon boat w/handicapped individuals on board partly submerged & taking on water in Lakeview area of Lake Pend Oreille.
