Obama Wants To End Saturday Mail
President Obama's proposed budget cuts cover a wide range of government services, and one impact would be on your mailbox. It would be empty on Saturdays if the administration's latest proposal goes through. These and other changes would allow the U.S. Postal Service to avoid default at the end of the month, according to documents accompanying the debt reduction plan Obama proposed Monday.
