Dennis: Talking With 3YOs? Forget It!

I know a couple three-year-olds named Austin and Cole. Austin's the son of my friend, Hollywood Larry. Cole is the son on Meggie and Caleb (in fact, my grandson). Both are around 3. Communicating with both young boys makes an adult understand how truly insignificant he or she is. For instance: Cole is a pirate one day and goes to a spaghetti feed the next; he could care less how much he wears on his face or whether pirates are politically incorrect. Adults scamper for wet wipes. The 3 year old? Fuggetaboutit ... Austin wants to play "catch" with his Idaho Uncle and "bams" him right in, shall we say, a "sensitive" area. The 3 Yr old's reaction. Fuggetaboutit ... get up off the floor. Cole and Austin act in a way that we WISH we could act. Seriously. 3 yr olds don't care. They just "do". They jump, crash, throw, tease and go pee-pee. At all times/Dennis Mansfield. More here.

Question: Do you wished you could act at times like a 3YO -- and get away with it?
