Richard E. Kelson, 77, of Bonners Ferry died this morning near Bonners Ferry after his Volkswagen Jeffa was struck by a train on a private crossing near the city’s municipal golf course, the Idaho State Police reported. See ISP report here.

A highway sensor detected the stolen 2005 black pickup from Texas. A child is in the vehicle, too. W/b traffic is delayed b/c inside lane is blocked to protect arresting officers.
