Richert: Dems Don’t Challenge Moyle

Like any football coach, Mike Moyle, pictured, is playing them one game at a time. When the House majority leader came in to interview with the Statesman editorial board last week, we asked him about his prospects in House GOP leadership. Moyle, R-Star, went all Coach Pete on us. "Hey, I've just got to get re-elected, then I can worry about that stuff," Moyle said. "Let's get through November, make sure everybody gets re-elected, then we can worry about leadership stuff." There could be some shakeups in leadership. If Moyle doesn't run against House Speaker Lawerence Denney of Midvale, he expects that he'll get a challenge for majority leader. House Education Committee Chairman Bob Nonini of Coeur d'Alene is looking at a run against caucus chairman Ken Roberts of Donnelly/Kevin Richert, Idaho Statesman. More here.

Question: Are you happy with the current Republican leaders of the Idaho Legislature? Would you like to see state Rep. Bob Nonini as caucus chairman?
