Now that would be a good topic for a survey question. How many people think that just by having blogs (HBO and others) for people to participate in that somehow regular folks may actually be paying more attention to local politics and better yet, starting to feel strong enough various issues to actually run for office. I know for one thing, I wouldn't be able to post these "real time" election reports. We even had one from a city clerk this week. I think somehow people may be feeling they have more of a voice. Let's hear it for the power of blogs and other on-line forums.
