Huckleberries Online

*Huckleberries hears ... that our old friend Spencer has been hanging out at the Coeur d'Alene Press for the last two days, trying to sell Editor Mike Patrick on another guest opinion of some sort. But got turned down. Mebbe the Press is finally wising up?

*Speaking of Marianne Love, "Lessons With Love: Tales of teaching and learning in a small-town hjigh school," I just received a copy from publisher Keokee Books in Sandpoint. ...

*Marianne Love/Slight Detour will be the next Huckleberries Gone Wireless guest. We'll begin the interview at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for the Handle edition Friday. You can follow it online. I've received several suggestions for other Gone Wi-Fi interviews, including deputy coroner Jody DeLuca. It might be interesting to do a high school graduate in the coming weeks, too.
...

*On my way to work this morning, I noticed two more scraped houses (at Third and Locust, next to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, across from those new storage sheds). Only the foundations and crawl spaces remained today. Anyone know what's going in there?
