For the past few winters, we've been total snowbirds. But then, you know what happened.

While we're hunkered down at our home base in Bellingham for most of the cold weather months, we still like to get out for short trips. Winter camping is a new adventure and we're embracing it. Especially the skier on our tiny team. 

We've got an entire column devoted to advice on best practices for dealing with the cold and sometimes snowy conditions. That's live on Friday. 

In the meantime, just for giggles, you might want to check out one of the Facebook groups devoted to sharing suggestions on how to create a warm and cozy space in your tiny home on wheels. Our current fave is Winter RVing: Let's Stay Warm Together!

It's a private group, but just ask to join and you'll be entertained with lots of personal stories and helpful guidance. Like advice on the best space heaters, for instance. (We've got two; one for the living room, one for the bathroom. And the second one makes a huge difference.)
