Going Mobile

Start dreaming: ‘Tis the RV show season

Save these dates, RV shoppers.

The 31st Inland Northwest RV Show is coming Jan. 24-27. That’s when the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds will be awash in everything from mini-travel trailers to massive class A motorhomes.

If you’re thinking about getting in the game, you should go. Last year, we went to an RV show in Seattle and had our minds blown by everything on the market.

You know the rest: We ended up getting in the game ourselves.

Tickets for the entire weekend are $8. You’ll see products from six RV dealers in the Spokane area covering the entire fairgrounds, said Steve Cody, producer of the show.

“The beauty of it is you can see a little bit of everything,” Cody said.

One thing that sets the Inland Northwest show apart from other RV shows is the Allstate Cash Machine. If you buy an RV at the show, you get 30 seconds in a booth filled with $1,000 flying around. Grab as much as you can and it’s yours.

“The most anyone has ever gotten is $426,” Cody said. "That's pretty good."
