Spokane graduation rates increase slightly
Spokane Public Schools on-time graduation rate increased slightly in 2015, up to 84.5 percent.
However, the districts on-time graduation rate for Black/African American students dropped to 77.8 percent. In 2014 it was 79.6 percent. Graduation rates for English Language Learners and students with 504 accommodation plans dropped as well.
Washington State’s on-time graduation rate is 78 percent. Broken down by gender 82 percent of females graduated statewide and 75 percent for males.
Central Valley School District’s overall graduation rate dropped slightly 87.4 percent in 2015. Mead School District’s rate increased to 89.7 percent while Cheney School district dropped slightly to 82.6 percent. To see data for all 295 school districts go here.
