Here’s the search committee for WSU medical school’s founding dean
Washington State University has begun a nationwide search for a founding dean for its new medical school, which will be based in Spokane. To help guide the effort, it has assembled the following committee to oversee the search:
Committee members, according to the university, are:
- Dr. Larry Corey, president and director emeritus at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
- Marty Dickinson, executive vice president for Umpqua Bank and member of the WSU Spokane Advisory Council.
- Marco Frank, research professor at WSU College of Medical Sciences.
- Dr. Deb Harper, Group Health, Spokane.
- Dr. George Novan, associate dean, WSU College of Medical Sciences.
- Emma Noyes, WSU College of Nursing and a Colville tribal member.
- Dean Gary Pollack, WSU College of Pharmacy; will serve as committee chairman.
- Nancy Potter, associate professor, WSU Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences.
- Acting Dean Ken Roberts, WSU College of Medical Sciences.
- Dr. Keith Watson, president of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
