WSU hosts open house in memory of Elson Floyd

An open house in memory of Washington State University President Elson S. Floyd is scheduled for Tuesday in Pullman.

The university is inviting the community to stop by the President's Residence on the Pullman campus between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for brief visits to honor Floyd and share memories with Floyd's wife, Carmento. The mansion is located at 755 NE Campus St. and parking will be available in the adjacent lot and in the driveway.

Floyd died early Saturday of complications from colon cancer.
