Cheap college credits
Students in 11th and 12th grade can earn college credit while still working on their high school diploma through the Running Start program.
Families interested in learning more about Running Start are invited to an information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the North Central High School library, 1600 N. Howard.
Parents and students will learn how to access Running Start, how to know if a child will do well in a college setting, how to simultaneously earn high school credits, etc. Two break-out sessions with Spokane Falls Community College, Spokane Community College and Eastern Washington University to provide school-specific information will also be offered.
