The Spokane River Forum Conference is quickly approaching, running from March 26-27th. This is an important moment for the Spokane River, the tie that binds our region. So what better way to connect to the region and to connect to the land, than attending this diverse event. For two days, you’ll have an opportunity to meet elected officials, policy makers, resource managers and stakeholders to seek opportunities to create a water future together.

With over 200 people expected to attend, the conference will once again be a unique bi-state opportunity to share information, network with others and reach out to the public. Local and regional approaches to addressing water quality, water resource and stewardship concerns will be highlighted throughout.

Examples include integrated management planning, toxics reduction strategies, shoreline management, wellhead protection, meeting water supply needs and setting fish consumption rates. Break-out sessions will be a new feature of this year's conference, reflecting both the amount of information and demands to go more in-depth on certain topics.
