Another Green Monday: Inland Northwest Land Trust presents “Words, Woods & Wine - an evening with Jess Walter”
Calling all nature writers! As a reminder, the Inland Northwest Land Trust is asking you to show some local love with a poetry contest and the deadline for submissions is this Friday, October 26th.
Two rules: Write an original nature poem about a favorite location, animal, plant, etc. in eastern Washington or northern Idaho and it must be 30 lines or less.
The selected poet will read onstage at “Woods, Words, Wine: An Evening With Jess Walter” on Thursday, November 29 at Barrister Winery at the beginning of the event. The winner will aslo receive an autographed copy of Jess Walter's latest novel Beautiful Ruins, and receive a ticket to the event. Entrant must be 21+ due to the venue.
