Daniel Klein's wild adventures in The Perennial Plate continue with this entry on several different New Orleans residents who returned after Katrina to rebuild their city and started growing food in abandoned lots. Did I mention the music is amazing? You can't tell a New Orleans story the right way without an appropriate soundtrack. Fortunately enough, one of the featured farmers plays in the Treme Brass Band. I've watched this video twice already this morning.
