Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s speech in Spokane will be rebroadcast tomorrow on KYRS

If you missed seeing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Spokane (or Sandpoint) in May, you can tune into Thin Air Community Radio Station - KYRS - tomorrow from noon to approximately 1:30 to hear his inspiring speech played in its entirety. (Check here for my recap.)

The Spokane Riverkeeper is working in partnership with KYRS - Spokane's only community radio station - to offer listeners in Spokane an opportunity to spend their lunch break listening to the event. If you live in the Spokane area you can find KYRS on the FM dial at 89.9 FM or best heard on 92.3 FM. For those outside the frequency range, you can stream KYRS online at www.kyrs.org. Just click on the "Listen" button on the upper right of the page.

Tim Connor had an excellent recap about the speech RFK Jr gave in Spokane on May 19th. Here's an excerpt: "Whether the Spokane audience expected it or not, what they got was a deeply piercing critique of corporate immorality and the corruption of American government. If some dose of optimism was required to avoid sending hundreds of people out into the streets in despair, Kennedy injected it near the end with his hope that the free market can save us—if we can break the headlock that corporate interests have placed on our government. One fleeting thought I’ve had, since, is that RFK, Jr. is what Che Guevara might sound like today if Che, in middle age, had learned English and become a venture capitalist."

So tune in tomorrow at noon hear this wonderful speech.

If you can't make it, the entire speech will be available later this month in Podcast and MP3 streaming form at KYRS's podcast page which can be found at http://www.kyrs.org/podcasts.cfm.
