Down To Earth

Tuesday Video - oldie but goodie

Are you a Spokane business within the 80-block Business Improvement District that is interested in installing a bicycle rack outside of your establishment?  If you said yes, and we hope you did, 50 bones is all you need.  The Growth and Transportation Efficiency Center (GTEC) and the Downtown Partnership have teamed up to offer Downtown businesses simple bike racks in a move that hopefully results in more downtown cyclists.  If you're interested, all you have to do is contact Andrew Rolwes at 509.456.0580 or ARolwes@downtownspokane.net for information.

And now on with the show.
In honor of this bicycle rack announcement, enjoy one of DTE's favorite Tuesday Videos of all time, "David Byrne's Bike Racks". And for more on David Byrne and cycling, check out his New York Times book review of Jeff Mapes book "Pedaling Revolution".  And stay tuned for his own bicycling-themed book due in the fall.
