Between Sustainable September and working with Project HOPE, Spokane non-profit Community Minded Enterprises is doing some great work in our neighborhoods to develop sustainable solutions. But have you heard about another initiative, Spokane’s very own Youth Sustainability Council?

 

If you recall back in April, we moderated a panel on sustainability at Huckleberry’s, featuring four local movers and shakers. One guest was Taylor Weech, who was incredibly articulate, and she is leading up YSC, a fun and positive opportunity for young people in town. Beginning Friday, YSC members will host “Raise Your Voice” on KYRS, Friday’s at 3pm, discussing City Council candidates for tomorrow’s episode.
