Down To Earth

VOTE

Today will be a day to remember. We're taking a brief break and asking Down To Earth readers in the U.S. who spend time on our blog to get out there and vote. If you are unsure where to cast your ballot, please check mypollingplace.com. Remember to double check ballots, bring identification, and allow yourself time at the polls because lines will definitely be long. Barack Obama and John McCain are both fans of Robert Penn Warren’s “All the King’s Men.” The last line of the classic novel reads, “Soon now we shall go out of the house and go into the convulsion of the world, out of history into history and the awful responsibility of Time.”
