County Commissioners unanimously decided yesterday the vote for the much ballyhooed $142 million wastewater treatment plant will be on Jan.6 and CH2M is favored for the contract. As reported before, the county could find themselves in a contract without discharge permits, now arguing if they can’t use the river, they still would need the plant. They might consider other options like discharging treated water on former farmland. Stay tuned.
