The Senate has adjourned until Monday at 10 a.m. Before bringing down the gavel, Lt. Gov. Brad Little noted that he had the mistaken impression that lawmakers wouldn’t be back next week; as a result, he has other plans, and, “I will not be here Monday and Tuesday.”

Little said he hopes when he gets back on Wednesday, “That you won’t be here.”

“From your lips,” Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis responded.
