High school students are being invited to compete for cash prizes while learning about constitutional conflicts in a civics contest sponsored by the U.S. District Court in Idaho and the 9^th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. The theme of the essay and video competition, which is open to students in grades 9-12, is, “Not to Be Forgotten: Legal Lessons of the Japanese Internment.” Idaho students will compete for cash prizes of up to $1,000, and the chance to go on to compete in the 9^th Circuit contest, with prizes of up to $2,000.
