Controller Woolf names Whitworth chief of staff
State Controller Brandon Woolf has named Joshua Whitworth as his new chief of staff; Whitworth has been with the office five years and most recently was deputy controller. A former executive director of the Idaho Republican Party, Whitworth holds an MBA from Boise State University and a business degree from Idaho State University, where he was a member of the 2002 Big Sky Conference championship football team.
Woolf’s former chief deputy, Dan Goicoechea, left two weeks ago to join the staff of state schools Superintendent Sherri Ybarra.
