After an exceedingly lovely and peaceful day of skiing at Bogus Basin on Saturday – see above – I’ve decided to change plans and delay my week off for a day, so I can cover Gov. Butch Otter’s end-of-session press conference on Monday and report on what he’ll do in response to the session, including the last-minute failure of legislation aimed at the health care coverage gap. Otter will begin speaking at 11 a.m. MT; you can listen live here. In many ways, this is the other shoe to drop, as the executive branch of our state government responds to the action of the legislative branch, which has taken center stage for the last three months.
