Senate finally passes Attorney General’s budget
The Senate has passed the budget for the Idaho Attorney General’s office on a 29-6 vote, after Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis held it up over his difference of opinion with Attorney General Lawrence Wasden over nuclear waste and the Idaho National Laboratory. Davis said he believes the Attorney General’s budget should see some big changes next year. The bill, HB 577, passed the House on March 10. It now goes to the governor’s desk.
