House passes urban renewal bill, adjourns ‘til Wed.; GOP heads into caucus
The House has now adjourned until 10 a.m. tomorrow; majority Republicans are headed into a closed-door caucus. That means several House committee meetings that were scheduled to occur “on adjournment” this afternoon will be delayed until after the caucus ends.
Before it adjourned, the House unanimously endorsed HCR 59, a resolution for an interim study committee on Idaho’s foster care system; and voted 52-17 in favor of HB 606a, the much-amended urban renewal reform bill that began with a proposal that emerged from a unanimous interim committee. That bill now moves to the Senate side.
