Three of 6 top Idaho chief execs took pay cuts in 2015

Here’s a news item from the Associated Press: BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Five of the top executives at the six Idaho companies that trade on major stock exchanges took home multimillion-dollar compensation packages in their companies' latest fiscal years. The Idaho Statesman reports (https://is.gd/s3JHLr ) three of the six just had pay cuts but their income still dwarfs the average Idaho salary of $38,792, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Micron's Mark Durcan made $9.4 million after a pay cut. Phillips S. Baker, Jr. of Hecla Mining made $4.12 million. U.S. Ecology's Jeff Feeler made $1.4 million after a major cut in salary. The average annual wage for chief executives in the Boise area was $133,688 last year.
