The recount is complete in an Ada County commissioner’s race – and the result was identical to that recorded on election night, with former Commissioner Sharon Ullman losing to current Commissioner Dave Case by 1,301 votes. “The results ended up exactly the same,” Chief Deputy Clerk Phil McGrane said. “It helps build confidence in our election system.”

Ullman requested the recount in six precincts, so she had to pay the $100-per-precinct cost. The Statesman’s full report is online here.
