House, Senate transportation chairs to discuss funding, take questions Thurs. evening

The chairs of the Idaho House and Senate transportation committees, Rep. Joe Palmer, R-Meridian, and Sen. Bert Brackett, R-Rogerson, will be featured in a free panel discussion and Q-and-A session on Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. in Meridian, sponsored by COMPASS, the community planning association. The two will discuss the transportation funding deal approved by Idaho lawmakers this year and how it came about, along with what’s next for transportation policy in Idaho.

The event will take place at the COMPASS offices, 700 NE 2nd St. in Meridian, second floor, in the Board Room; there’s more info here.
