House, Senate panels set joint hearing, call for public testimony

The House and Senate Judiciary committees have announced a joint meeting, set for 9:30 a.m. on Monday during the special session of the Legislature, at which they’ll take public testimony on the child support enforcement bill. People who want to testify can begin signing up at 8 a.m.; the joint hearing will be in the Lincoln Auditorium. The agenda isn’t yet out, but it’s expected shortly; the notice of meeting says the topic will be the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act.
